Be calm and picnic on!

We’ll be holding our “Welcome Back” picnic on Thursday, September 9 (rain date, Friday September 10) at Vincent Massey Park. We are unable to reserve a specific location (or the gazebo) so we will share detailed directions of where we’ll be set up to those who register. We’ll gather at noon (kind of like the good ole’ days when we had our Thursday lunches!).
 
Bring your own lunch, non-alcoholic drinks, and chairs/blankets. The club will provide an individually packaged dessert. There may be some fun activities and, of course door prizes! The club will also contribute $5 toward the cost of your parking (per vehicle).
 
As noted in our last newsletter, we are asking all participants to be fully vaccinated. And though we are outside we’ll ask everyone to follow current public health guidelines at all times. In accordance with these guidelines, registrants will be asked to provide contact information and state they have answered “NO” to all of the questions in the self-assessment questionnairebefore arriving at the event. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we aim to resume some activities while keeping our members – and their families and friends – safe.
