About 60 people participated in the club’s Annual General Meeting held on April 5 at KS on the Keys. Members enjoyed lunch (with tea and coffee provided by the club), caught up with each other, held elections, heard about the club’s upcoming activities and received a general update on the club’s work.
The club also shared news of its two Community Investment donations at the AGM. This year’s recipients are: Suzart Productions (nominated by Heritage Club member and Suzart Board member Arlene Watson) and Backpacks for the Homeless (nominated by Heritage Club member and organization volunteer Tim McGurrin). Suzart’s president, Kristopher Tharris, was present at the lunch to receive their $500 donation. Backpacks for the Homeless will join us at the May lunch.
