Play, wine, dine – BOO!

Join us for a super fun fall event on Thursday, October 11. We’ll depart out on our adventure just after noon and head to the Upper Canada Playhouse Theatre to see Dean & Jerry – What might have been. After the play we’ll visit Stone Crop Acres Winery for a tasting. This small, family-run winery uses grapes that are “grown and hand harvested with love”, crafting wine in small artisanal batches. After our tasting, dinner will be served at the Upper Canada Pub. After our dinner, we’ll put on our brave faces and prepare to be spooked and mesmerized at Upper Canada Village’s Pumpkin Inferno. This award-winning program features 7,000 handcrafted pumpkins, glowing along a kilometer long path. We’ll return to Ottawa at about 10:30 p.m.

Please note, as it is a work day we are unable to secure free parking at Canada Post’s head office. We are pursuing a few other options and will fill in this detail soon.

The cost for this event is $90 per person (all inclusive – transportation, ticket for the play, dinner, winery tastings and entrance fee to the Pumpkin Inferno), for paid members. Your chapter is paying for the bus transportation and the winery visit fee (that’s what your dues do!). All you will have to pay for is any purchases at the winery and your drinks at dinner. Cost for non-members is $110 per person.
