Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday, April 5 at 11:00 am at KS on the Keys (1029 Dazé St). The chapter’s financial report will be presented at the meeting and our elections will be held. If you plan to attend, please send an email to Cindy Daoust (vp-cindy@bytownchapter.com) so we can confirm expected numbers to the restaurant, and to be eligible for door prizes.
There are four executive positions that are up for renewal – the President and three Vice-president positions. Please consider a role on the executive if you like what the chapter is doing and want to help or, just as importantly, if you don’t like what we’re doing and want to see things changed! A reminder that only paid members can vote at the election.
Being on the executive is not a big commitment. There are about 6-8 meetings a year and you generally agree to organize two – three lunches a year and organize (or help) with one larger event. If you are interested in running for one of the vacant positions, please send an email to Cindy Daoust (vp-cindy@bytownchapter.com) before Friday, March 30.
