Hiking 2017

Who’s up for an occasional early-day hike?  Last year, a few of us found short, not-too-strenuous hikes in the region, and got together before the heat of the day.  We hiked, we talked, we hiked some more.  And survey says that we all loved it!

Popular spots were Mer Bleu Bog and Pink Lake in Gatineau Park, both less than 2 km, and suggestions for other hike locations are encouraged.  Because these hikes are weather dependent, they’re often last-minute, so if you’re interested, watch the chapter’s Facebook page (By-Town Heritage Club), or shoot France Dulude Picard an email at vp-france@bytownchapter.com and she’ll pass the word to Trish Edwards (who’s still leading this activity) to give you a heads-up the day before.

Next week’s weather looks good – shall we begin?
