Since 2012, Canada Post’s employees and retirees have been using Express Scripts Canada to meet their prescription medication needs. Although many users are pleased with this service, some may prefer to get their medical needs fulfilled via their local pharmacy.
In late 2014, Canada Post advised all current management and exempt employees and retirees that they had the following options for their prescription drug fulfillment:
- continue to use Express Scripts Canada Pharmacy. If this is your preference, you don’t need to do anything; or
- switch to a pharmacy of your choice by calling Express Scripts at 1-855-550-6337 or by calling your new pharmacy.
If you choose to switch:
- Express Scripts would welcome your feedback at the above number.
- We encourage you to select a pharmacy that uses Canada Post to deliver prescriptions by mail.
When you speak with a new pharmacy, have the names of your medications and the Express Scripts phone number handy. Please ask for a three-month supply, which could save you money and reduce costs for the drug plan, too.
