Canada Post ‘Name that tune’ music quiz – February 26

A music quiz? In February? Yes, indeed! Call it a little bit of pre-March madness or spring fever, but the next “name that tune” music quiz is just a few weeks away. Gather up your colleagues and friends for a lunch hour of fun and help support the Najda Refugee Sponsor team of current and former Canada Post employees, working together to sponsor a Syrian family’s immigration to Canada.

The contest takes place on Friday February 26 in the Conference Centre – noon sharp. The format is simple and fun: teams of five contestants must identify artists, song titles and other information from short musical snippets. The cost is $10 a player, with all the money going to Najda. Payment is due on the day of the competition. All you need to do for now is round up a few friends, choose a team name, and reserve your spots. Costumes are optional, but always highly encouraged.

Space is limited – teams should book ASAP by replying to Tim McGurrin at tim.mcgurrin@canadapost.ca. Email him directly to reserve your spot.

Here’s a cryptic clue to the quiz theme: sometimes you need to look back to see forward!
