Olde Forge Community Resource Centre is looking for regular volunteers. Drivers are reimbursed 0.45 cents/km by monthly cheque for gas. Upon notifying their insurance company, the personal car insurance of volunteers covers them. Olde Forge has a form to complete for insurance companies and will assist in filling them out and sending them. Olde Forge requires confirmation of insurance, a police check (at no cost to the volunteer) and three references. The schedule is very flexible and is based on the volunteer’s availability and preferences. More information is available by contacting Olde Forge Community Resource Centre Program Coordinator Christie May. She can be reached by telephone at 613-829-9777 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
