Community Foundation – thanks from Canada Post

To our dear friends at the By-Town Heritage Club… Thank you so much for your support for the Canada Post Community Foundation for Children. Because of your continuing support, 107 organizations across Canada are right now receiving important funding to support programming for local children and youth. Christiane and I hear, every day, from organizations we’re working with, about the impact of our grants. It is remarkable what the Foundation has achieved, thanks, in no small portion, to your members and their support. Thank you.

Your members may also be interested in knowing that, thanks to a connection made at last year’s lunch when a representative from Ottawa Therapy Dogs and I chatted, they were a recipient of a grant from the Foundation this year. So, your efforts are being felt all across the Ottawa region! Other Ottawa-area grant recipients are: The Adoption Council of Canada, CHEO and the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre.

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing all of you soon at Santa’s workshop…
