Community Foundation’s 2013 fundraising – a message from Canada Post

To our Bytown Heritage Club friends… Thank you! We are so grateful for the support your chapter shows the Foundation. The Foundation has just provided grants of more than $1.5 million to 109 non-profit, community- based organizations across Canada, the results of our 2012 campaign. Grants that support causes both at the grassroots and national levels – from small community breakfast club programs or local cancer survivor camps, as well as large initiatives like a national crisis phone line for teens and anti-bullying programs – your support is making a difference across Canada.

Right here in the Bytown Chapter’s region we’re supporting the Ottawa Food Bank, Hopewell, Ottawa Network for Education, Somerset West Community Health Centre and Bâtisseur d’un jour and Centre des Arts. This area received over $90,000 worth of support!  Together we are making a real difference for kids – in your community – and all across the country.

This $2,500 donation is a great start to this year’s fundraising effort.Thank you again!
