Congratulations to John Venner, who will receive a $500 scholarship from the By-Town Chapter. John is the son of By-Town member Marilyn Venner.
John recently graduated from Ashbury College with an International Baccalaureate diploma. Next year, he will be studying social sciences at the University of Toronto,Victoria College, where he intends to major in economics, and hopes to use the scholarship to buy books.
Excited to start this new chapter in his life, John thanks the Heritage Club’s By-Town Chapter for the Scholarship Award and supporting him in that dream.
A cheque will presented to John at October’s ‘Embrace the Fall’ lunch at Travelodge Hotel.
