Canada Post’s Community Foundation – looking for volunteers!

Canada Post is looking once again for Heritage Club members who are willing to volunteer a few hours of their time to evaluate grant applications for funding from its  Community Foundation. Applications have been received from charities, school programs and community organizations for funding of projects providing support for initiatives that benefit children across the country.

This year, two 15-minute training sessions, which will be conducted by conference call, have been scheduled for our members who want to help out. Afterward, 10 files will be sent out to each volunteer by email, along with a scoring sheet. Upon completing your first 10 files and returning them to Canada Post, you may ask for more.

All this can be done in the comfort of your own home!

Conference calls will be held on:

  1. Monday, May 27th at 2 p.m.
  2. Tuesday, May 28th at 2 p.m.

If you are interested in participating in this activity, please communicate the date you’ve chosen, along with a telephone number, to Lise Jette at treasurer@bytownchapter.com for further instructions.
