Some 85 members, spouses and friends celebrated the season at this year’s Heritage Club Christmas Lunch at The Travelodge Hotel.
The gathering began early, with people checking in with old friends and colleagues in the lounge. Lunch in the dining room featured an excellent buffet of seasonal turkey, as well as salmon, vegetarian lasagna and a range of hot and cold sides. Many members lingered over desserts and coffee well into the afternoon.
By-Town president Bob Hughes heartily thanked Gail Curran, Ed Miller and Raj Mediratta for organizing this festive Christmas lunch. He also thanked members for their support at recent Heritage Club events, and reminded everyone of the need for volunteers at the two upcoming Santa Letter events. Everyone left with a Christmas gift and a heartfelt “Merry Christmas” from chapter executives.
