Laying a wreath on behalf of Canada Post at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during Remembrance Day ceremonies was local veteran Georges Moroni, husband of By-Town member Chantal Piché Moroni. Georges worked for Canada Post from 1965 to 1967, and again on contract in 2006-2007. He served in the Forces from 1967 to 1989; he retired in 2000 from the Communication Security Establishment.
