Last November, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled in a pay equity case involving some current and former Canada Post employees who were/are part of the PSAC bargaining unit. The ruling means that eligible employees will be compensated for 50 per cent of the wage gap found to exist from August 24, 1982 to June 2, 2002 by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.
