Yes, that’s right — the holiday season is around the corner. No, really – it is! Make December 10 the first entry in your 2010 calendar of festivities, and be sure to join your fellow By-Town Chapter members for a hearty Christmas dinner. Entertainment during the evening by psychic and magician John Milks.
Maximum seating is 60 people, so don’t delay — make your reservation today!
Where: Algonquin Salon, Holiday Inn, 101 Kanata Avenue, Ottawa
When: Friday December 10,
Time: Cocktails 6 to 6:45 p.m. (cash bar), hors d’oeuvres will be served and it will be followed by dinner.
Cost: $50 per person (includes tax and gratuities)
First course
Classic Caesar salad with smokey bacon, grated Parmesan and oven baked croutons.
Second course
Purée of butternut squash, roasted pepper and yam infused with German thyme and allspice.
Third course
Your choice of fresh Quebec 8oz chicken supreme with wild mushroom and brandy ragout, or Canadian AAA prime rib English cut of beef au jus with fresh Yorkshire pudding.
Fourth course
Decadent chocolate mousse cake served with chocolate sauce, mango drizzle and coco dust. Served with freshly brewed premium coffee, decaf coffee and steeped tea
